Convenient location for Santa Teresa, near the beach but nestled in the jungle. Great facilities, especially the pool. Helpful staff assisted with booking activities, including surf lessons. Beautifully maintained grounds, and even had visits from monkeys.

My stay at Funky Monkey Lodge was absolutely amazing. I spent a week there for a relaxing beach getaway. The treetop apartment with its large balcony and breathtaking view was perfect. The yoga classes offered multiple times a day were diverse and the instructors were fantastic. The well-maintained pool provided a refreshing escape from the mid-day heat. The beach access, grocery store, restaurants, and ice cream shop were all conveniently close. I loved spotting wildlife from the canopy view and listening to the howler monkeys. The staff, especially Guido, Diego, and Eli, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the bungalows with their open-air bathrooms were an incredible experience. Funky Monkey Lodge offered a special and unforgettable stay.

The location of this hotel was perfect - it was close to a beautiful beach and other good restaurants. I loved being in the middle of nature and hearing the sounds of the monkeys and birds. The hotel facilities were great, with hammocks on the deck and a lovely pool for evening swims. The staff were friendly and personal, always calling me by my name.

What a great romantic escape! The peaceful location in a secluded area with jungle views is a big plus. The room was well-furnished, with a comfortable bed and a stunning balcony that offered gorgeous sunsets and great wildlife sightings. the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and relaxed.

Sadly, there were some downsides to our stay. The noise from nearby venues was unbearable at times, even late at night.
